Each of our books has an accompanying Teacher's Guide. The teacher's guide contains
tips and pointers as well as suggestions about different ways of instituting Intellikit
in the classroom. We recommend a journal so students can a) think more deeply about the issue,
b) practice writing analytically, c) have a way of tracking progress. We also give suggestions
about using our curriculum in different types of class discussions.
In addition we provide a List of Objectives and a Breakdown for each story. The List
is simply a list of ideas, concepts, and arguments the student should be able to articulate
by the end of the story. This allows teacher's to gauge the degree to which the student has
engaged with the story.
The Breakdown section presents each argument in step-by-step form,
making them easy to decipher and follow.
This allows the teacher to grasp the issues easily, thereby making it easier to gauge
a student's involvement, point out flaws in reasoning, and lead meaningful discussions.
